Nike Zoom Don Spring 2010

When discussing a running sneaker one must evaluate the shoe differently. While function ranks above fashion in this case there is a fine line between looking like an athlete when you run and looking like a soccer mom.

The Nike Zoom Don which is planned for a spring 2010 release will have you looking like the latter. Inspired, the new word for fusion, by the Zoom Spiridon runner the shoe features a 6-Rings-esque sole and a total mesh uppers. The terrible colorways will make this one a hard sell with true sneaker heads.

Way to load this entry with your colored opinion, KOF. These are something different, nothing a soccer mom would wear (they hate basketball shoes). They may not catch on, but they make an interesting design with materials not usually seen on B-ball shoes (wasting away on modern running kicks where style is nonexistent). These definitely are a welcome relief from boring *ss team basketball shoes.
Hell, all you Yankee fans, imaging wearing the navy/gray ones to the game.
