It’s not news that the Nike Dunk has had a relatively quiet year but in terms of tragic losses 09 has by far been one of the worst that we have lived thru. The tragic death of DJ AM left a void that simply can not be filled and showcasing his sneaker is the most bittersweet ending ever. Fitting, but very bittersweet.
The shoe is made of red leather on the toebox, side panel and ankle while black patent leather lines the mudguard and heel. The stylized heel also features perforated detailing that mimics the sides of a turntable. The silver swoosh implies a the tone arm of the turntable. With a white midsole and logo tongue tag these are sure to not be around for long. Who’s copping? Via Warped.
