Reebok Pump Battleground Blacktop Bringback

Reebok recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Reebok Pump, but you can still find nice colorways of the classic silhouette on eBay. The pair shown here sports a predominantly black leather upper, along with green and black hues. The classic Pump design sports an orange design and sits on a black tongue. These would definitely make a great addition to any shoe collection.

I remember when my Grnadma bought me these when I was 12 back in ’91. I had a pair of the Dee Brown’s and someone stole them from my locker at a swimming pool. Luckily my sweet Grandma (R.I.P.) hooked me up.

I`ve the OG’s but the eva midsoles are cracked, gotta get theese in this exact colorvay, i got very upset when I saw the oldies cracking, dope shoes for real!!

I think Sinbad did the commercial for this shoe, and they talked about it being an outdoor shoe. Anyone have the commercial? If so post it.

I still dont know why Reebok is calling these “Battleground Blacktop” when they were originally just called “Blacktop”. I had the black and white Boulevard joints when I was in 5th grade. Reebok is jacking the “Battleground” name from Nike circa 2001 (see silver/chrome and navy Flightposite III’s). Nike even had the Battlegrounds one on one basketball tournament that came on MTV2. Just my 2 Pennies…
