Seeing adidas bring back some of their classic designs is definitely exciting because you get to glimpse at where the inspiration from newer pieces were drawn. Resurrecting a classic in many ways is the most accurate way to see what is in store for a brand.

The Beckenbauer Allaround was done for tennis star Franz Beckenbauer at the height of his soccer career. The shoes are done in a white leather upper with a suede toe guard and navy accenting by way of the stripes and heel tab. Gold leaf rounds out the design by way of the image of ‘The Kaiser’ on the tongue, name of the shoe on the side and branding on the heel. Via Schuh-You

    Franz Beckenbauer was never a tennis star. He was captain of the West German football team that won the World Cup in 1974 and was manager of their World Cup winning team of 1990. Please do a little research before posting information like that. Thanks.
