Star Wars x adidas Originals 2010 Collection Reveal

We have been giving you preview after preview of the highly anticipated Star Wars and adidas Orignals collection, and now we finally have the big reveal. Split up into three separate packs, the Characters Pack, the Vehicles Pack, and the Direct Pack, all three have distinct personalities. With both brands possessing strong design personalities, it gives a unique spin on what we all consider a classic [in both senses]. You can expect to see a new side to some of your favorite characters as well as the vehicles used in the films: TIE Fighter, Darth Vader, and the X-Wing. The kicks will be dropping in Jan, alongside a web app that will push the marketing of this partnership forth.

Well looks like the adidas x Star Wars Collection cat is finally out of the bag. With a whole heap of shoes dropping in the intergalactic color ways, we are pegging the Darth Vader ZX8000 as the crowd favorite but would love to be proven wrong so why don’t you do just that.     There’s definitely more misses than hits but the Vader joints make it all worth the hype. How are the Death Sta Superstars not gunmetal grey?! Unless adidas wanted them to be the Death Star Trooper Superstars. This pack is more farce than Force but I will mos def fux with those Vaders.

    While I’ve admired Adidas for a long time, I think that just recently as a business they have suffered. Their design isn’t what it used to be & IME, the quality of the manufacture has gone south. They used to be the best, today it’s simply the cheapest trainers.

    I saw these at SoHo Sneaker Shop, not sure if they were worth the buy or not. I really like the Storm Trooper one! Meh, maybe I ought to go get me a pair, after all, it is a Star Wars sneaker.
