Michael Jordan’s son has agreed to wear Adidas gear, but not sneakers because of what the Jordan brand means to him and his family. Itt is interesting to see if the Jordan Brand will now sponsor UCF and how the team’s management feels about Marcus’ decision.

i understand him wanting to rep his father’s iconic sneakers, but he’s not michael jordan, he’s marcus. michael wore cons at unc, because college students kinda have to do what they’re told. especially when you’re a student at a small-time school, you should probably be careful about pissing off the sponsors… not saying i disagree, but i bet the athletic director of ucf is slightly pissed (unless they get nike or jordan brand to sponsor, and then this is a genius move!).

that’s exactly the problem. college students don’t have the choice. if they don’t comply, the school might lose money in sponsorships and endorsements, which is exactly what happened. if nike or brand jordan steps in, then it’s all good for ucf. but what if nike doesn’t want to waste their time on a very small school? then marcus jordan cost them a bunch of money.
