Ok this is for all you hypebeast that dont know the historical value of these shoes. The reason they are called the “flu game ” 12’s is because this was the shoe M.J. wore when he had a full blown flu and still won the game. I forgot how many points Jordan but he had alot!
Andy, whats the quality for this shoe. Because people who got them say the quality is horrible. I think it was because jordan brand was trying to relate to that time period when the shoe was actualy created and when michael jordan played with the flu.

Bought this one the 1st day it appeared on UK Nike online store and received in 3 days. Wore it to play Bball the same day. No need to worry about quality,can’t say it’s perfect, but good enough. Beautiful colour and execllent feeling. You can feel the zoom air from the bottom of your feet strongly when you jump up and down. Good protection all around feet, make you feel secure while you runing and playing on the court. I scored 5 3-points out of 6 in a single match. However, one thing I have to point out is the ankle part, too hard, too strong, maybe the 1st time I wear it, made my feet hurt after 2 hours B ball game. Highly recommend, no reason to miss it out!!!
AJ Canada, these aint supposed to be retros that reflect the OG shoe, its’s made to pay homage to the ‘97 Flu game specifically so they diant want it to be the same as the OG’s. Plus they have already retroed This colorway with black leather on it in ‘03. If u want it with leather just find a pair of the ‘03 retros.

They always say he had the flu but the specifics are in his book. he ordered a pizza the night before the game (the only time he ever did) and got a hellacious stomach virus. long story short by the time he laced up those 12s he had 3 sleeping pills, antibiotics, seditives, 6 cups of coffee, and pepto in his system. the 100 degree fever was the least of his probs…and he STILL dropped 38.
