It seems like almost every pair of kicks that has been released this season features a vulcanized sole, a treatment that has generally been reserved for skate shoes and older models. Now, adidas Originals wants a piece of the action, taking their classic Superstar and updating it’s look. Using an earth tone colorway of espresso, black and hints of orange, these kicks have a smooth nubuck upper to set off the new vulcanized sole. Who knew that such a simple change would turn the casual Superstar into a skate friendly shoe?
