When Overkill decided to link up with New Balance to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the occasion they chose simple color ways to make the social commentary but each style has a distinct significance regarding the moment. The red is for the USSR flag, the black for Berlin’s bear mascot and the blue for the US. For an even wider global appeal each shoe is emblazoned with the British flag to signify the UK brands involvement.
