With the recent news of the AJKO retro it must be noted that like all sneakers the Air Jordan 1 was a work in progress ad t one point, which is evident in the AJI 84 prototype “Big John”. To think that these ultra-high top sneakers could have been the Air Jordan that started it all is kind of crazy. Take a look at these which they are holding up at Warped.

Thank whoever tweaked it to make it the hit it is today, because the prototype was simply awful.
