Puma Clyde, these Bathing Ape Crape sneakers come in three colorways, all featuring a suede upper and traditional fat laces. This is a situation that seperates the men from the boys. Men wouldn’t pay $300+ for a pair of fake AF1’s so why the hell would we spend good money on a carbon copy fake of The Clyde. The thing that really pisses me off is the fact that they are carbon copies; including the mold for the sole. I can even tell it’s the mold for The Clyde (not The Suede) it’s so blatant. Nike/Puma/Adidas should band together and shut these fakers down. They’re a slap in the face to true Sneakerheads. Almost as bad as the distributors keeping all the fake J’s floating around out there. That is all I have to say.
XCALIBR8: Come on dude step ya knowledge up. I aint tryna disrepect you or anyone else who isn’t completely at one with why people will pay extra, but it’s real simple. Most will buy it over AF1’s, Puma’s, Converse, etc., because it’s a lot more exclusive then those brands. With Nike, Jordan, and all those GR brands it’s pretty easy to just go on a website (Flight Club, Marqueesole, Airrandy and all)and get so called “Exclusive stuff”. It’s not so easy with Bape, it’s hard to go around anywhere and see the same pair of bapes twice in one day. With the Nike’s, and Jordan’s you’ll run into the same shoe several times. I like the stuff because I like it, and I can get it for a reasonable price without getting ripped off. But some people will buy it just to be the only person in a mile wearing it. I aint tryna get at you, just tryna inform.

BAPE has decided for better or for worse that cranking out shoes like these is their mission. The fact that they could easily design complete originals doesn’t matter…
Bape is THEE original knock-off brand, they copy designs, splash their own logo on ‘em and sell them at ridiculous prices just to prove how dumb society is, and laugh at American consumers…… The Japanese hate us, we bombed Hiroshima remember?
