Before the Jordan purists get too upset just know this was just a sample and will probably never be released. With that being said, this is more of Kobe Bryant X Michael Jordan collaboration than it is a fusion. When Kobe signed with Nike he helped bring life back to the Huarache line and this Air Jordan 11 based design was an idea as part of the movement.
The sneaker, surprisingly, is very basic. The Nike Air Zoom Huarache 2K4 uppers sits on top of the classic Air Jordan XI sole.

    ok, now let’s get our heads out of our asses, and look at this as a performance shoe.

    huarache: known for supierior ankle support via ankle housing and strap.
    AJ 11: known for excellent impact distribution via gum sole and CF plate; not to mention the full-length Nike Air unit.

    dayum, I’d ball in these! agreed A.J. This shoe has to be insanely excellent performance wise. Lock down and lightweightness of the huarache with jordan cushioning?!? what a combination!

    these really arent bad. these are just huaraches with a different sole. there isnt a huge change here from 2k4′s. the people that dont like them probably were expecting something they could wear with jeans.

    I’d hoop in them most definitely…but I dont think its a good look for the Jordan and Nike heads out there…maybe this will be just a PE for kobe and other nike/jordan signees
