Adidas Original Rod Laver Series
After the first release of the Rod Laver series, I really thought I had seen it all. It seemed that the originality and colorways had all been covered and that there was no way to top it. Today, we see the next drop in the series, showcasing collabs with Solebox, D-Mop, Wood Wood and Goodfoot. While this design is over 40 years old, each one of these designers gave the shoe a modern and relavent look [in their own ways]. There is something here for everyone, with D-Mop doing an all metallic upper, and the rest doing a subtle yet detailed version of the shoe.
