What “ugly” shoes have I ever defended? Hey, I have my own opinion. I like a lot of quirky shoes. This ain’t one of them. These are right up there with a particular pair of Pennys in the 90s bad design hall of shame. For one, midsole’s too goddamn thick, in a cartoonish way. There’s not a handsome angle on it if you ask me.
