As we’ve mentioned several times, the Nike Hypermax is an upgraded version of the Nike Hyperdunk, sporting Nike’s patented Flywire technology along the side panels. Here we feature a new colorway which is available now at Nike.com for $130. They sport a predominantly black construction along with orange accents on the tongue, strap, and air sole unit. Simplicity is definitely the theme of this pair, but they make great kicks for the hardwood.

I wouldn’t call the Hypermax an upgraded version of the Hyperdunk.. It’s quite a bit heavier with the the air technology. The Hyperize is closer to being an upgrade. I’d say the Hypermax is more for post players. I still think the Hyperdunk reigns supreme compared to the Hypermax and Hyperize because it’s lighter and I think it looks better.
