The summer smash Iron Man hit theatres in 2008 starring Robert Downey Junior; it is rumored that these kicks were inspired by and planned to be released around the same time as the movie. That never happened and via NSB we get to see pictures of the sample sneaker. The metallic gold, red and black colorway fit well and the shoe resembles Nike SB’s earlier days. Wishful thinkers will plan for a later drop but we will probably never see these.
