It comes to no surprise that the Miami Heat star has left converse after several cold sneaker releases and even one model which he refused to wear on the court. It has been announced that Wade will become part of the Jordan Brand. This is very exciting as we will probably see a signature Wade sneaker or at least some cool colorways. Imagine Wade rocking Bred 11s at away games.

Hah, if you didnt see this coming then you might be completely blind. lol. I’m surprised he didn’t just go to Nike.. He will provide a lot more star power to a Jordan Brand that only has a few Star Players using its Kicks (Melo, Paul, Allen, about it..)

Real blow to Converse. Gone are the days of Grandmama and everyone wearing Weapons. Since the Nike purchase, Converse has lost its heart to come with strong performance shoes (though a couple of Wades were tight) preferring to see how many different Chucks they can get the punk rock chicks to buy.
I wonder which ones he refused to wear. The 1s and 2s were cool to me.
I don’t see Jordan being much better to him, even if he is already in the family. He may as well have defected out to Adidas to shore up their guard shoes (with their main huge stars being big men)
That really is not a good look for the sneaker industry for Nike to house up all the stars in every sport and companies like Puma and Fila focused on lifestyle shoes.
