Currently, the biggest statement one can make in street wear is to not make a statement at all. The Adidas Rod Laver falls right into this category as there is very little visual branding on the sneaker. The shoe features a mostly white canvas/mesh upper with a crème suede toe cap and blue accenting the tongue, heel tab, and outsole. Look for these this summer. Via: Leaders

Classics.
When do these come out? Was just about to get some Rod Laver’s in a few days, the ones with the navy blue in it. I’ll wait for these classics to come out. Good summer-time look
These Rock just got a pair. Perfect summer kicks with the mesh. No branding is good branding in my book, too mush sh*t is overdone these days. Less is more. Time to hit the courts.

PS I got the white/navy in Queens NYC for $64.95

C42D,
Where did you get them? Do you know of any websites that are selling the Lavers in this particular shade of blue?
Thanks!
Lucas
Adidas REALLY needs to start making the solid-colored perforated Laver again.
I’ve had a pair of the Navy joints for YEARS and they’re still in good shape but they ain’t gonna last forever.
And I always wanted the Red, Black, Green and Orange joints they used to make but missed my chance to pick ‘em up.
They should really be one of the standard kicks they ALWAYS produce.
