Vans teamed up with Japanese illustrator Taka Hayashi to present a new collection for the 2009 fall/winter season. As with all great art, the sneakers were designed with deep inspiration. Hayashi used elements from, “Italian footwear of the ‘60s” and “pieces of military vintage” to create the perfect look. Each shoe features studs, leather, canvas, and belt-like-straps on top of Vans’ vulcanized sole. Via: FreshNGood.
