Pinoy sneakerheands should be extremely excited to know that this summer Nike will be dropping a Hyperdunk dedicated to them. Inspired by the Filipino national flag. Done up in blue patent leather, red/blue flywire and a glossy red midsole with a yellow speckled outsole the shoe is a very awesome homage. The cherry on top is the white Nike sign that sits smack dab in the middle. Expect to see these at select House of Hoops locations shortly. Via Sneakerfiles

tht blue needs to be darker and it will look more like a filipino shoe. looks like the colors of different flag
too much yellow.. they should have gone with more white.. the yellow should be mere accents as it was in the flag.. for example, the nike swoosh and/or the shoelaces should be the only thing/s yellow.. darker blue would also be nicer.. and a flag on the tongue would really say “FILIPINO”..
P.S. if they convert the yellow to white and the vice versa.. it would be a kick ass shoe!! tama ba mga pinoy??
I think the Philippines Flag is more of a Royal Blue than a Light Blue. Is this Limited Edition or on Retail Shops?
Not a good look to use the Hyperdunk. I wasn’t a big Hyperdunk fan as it was, so seeing the yellow in the midsole looking like you’re wearing bananas on the sides of your feet kills it completely.

why didn’t the designers just used the same colors from the Air Force One “Filipino Sun?” this sh!t blows… and I’m a proud Flip! i know they could’ve come-up with something better than this… something sicker… but nevertheless i’m coping a pair just because…
