The Nike Zoom Kobe 4 (IV) has been seen in a plethora of colorways, and although we’ve seen pictures of new Kobe Bryant signature shoes slated to release sometime in the future, these are still receiving lots of attention.
For those of you that don’t know, Kobe Bryant was born in Philadelphia, and the shoes pay homage to his hometown. They sport a patriotic design, consisting of a blue / red /white color palette, Other include a reflective star pattern on the ankle collar, splashes of patent leather, Flywire technology, and 8-23-78 on the sock-liner, which is Kobe;s date of birth. No exact date has been posted for their release, but look for them to officially release on or around his birthday. Via Marquee Sole.

Deez r da dop chit wright herr
if the date is in the insole why is #23 on the back of the shoe? thats a lil suspect…shouldnt the the whole dob be on the back as well…hmmm
i was wondering the same thing fire… or just a 24 would be better.. it looks stupid witha 23
I believe #23 is on the back of the shoe because that was the number of Kobe’s dad, Joe “Jellybean” Bryant, when he was playing for the 76ers.
I think it says 23 because he was born on the 23rd.
He was born on Aug. 23, 1978.
because of his dad jersey # in phily #23
