Growing up in the early 90’s, SuperKix always had the freshest kicks….but he put them through hell. Not knowing what their worth would be in 15 years, he tore them up and realized later how he should have been treating them. In 1999, Superkix bought a pair of Air Max 95s and the game was over. From then on, he only rocked Air Max: 95’s, 97’s, & LTD’s. If it didn’t have an air pocket, he wouldn’t wear it. In the past year or so, Superkix has dabbled in the SB game, but his passion for the Air Max 95 stays true.
About a year ago, his passion for collecting turned into a business, when he teamed up with his brother Jonathan and started Superkix.com; the first and only search engine for authentic sneakers. He hopes to find his holy grail, the Jordan VII - Miro. Not to wear…but he thinks they would look nice on his mantel.

Orange AM95s with the grey outsole. Dannnnnnnnnggggg. Get em homey. I just sold a lot of my Js and I’m ridin with the AM95s to bro. I will only keep my 3s, 6s, 11s and black & green Spizikes and I will only cop the red & white 12s at the end of the year. Everything else will go. SBs too, I’m only keeping my skate or dies and the De La’s.

True, if you’re a REAL sneaker head you don’t JUST collect Jordans, I mean… If you don’t like SB’s, don’t cop em or if you don’t like AF1’s, then screw them. But JUST Jordans does NOT make you a sneakerhead. But yah…. You need at least 1 or 2 pairs of retro or OG Jordans.
I can’t get into the “buying sneakers to display but not wear” thing. That’s the same as collecting toys you’re too old to play with.
But I can understand not beating them to death.
