Nike Air Footscape - July 2009 Release

The last few weeks has brought along lots of talk about the Nike Air Footscape, as we’ve seen several catalog pictures as well as the Hiroshi Fujiwara x Nike Air Footscape. Here we feature two new colorways which are said to be releasing to accounts sometime in July. One pair features a black upper along with bright blue mesh and a white midsole, while the other sports a predominantly purple upper along with red portions. The unique thing about these shoes is the innovative lacing system, which is located on the side of the shoe as opposed to the middle. via kenlu.

    I dont really like these at all. i like the idea of the laces on the side for running shoes, but they just made these look horrible. The whole upper is really boring and they need a lot more color.

    The talk about these is probably how ugly these are. Hiroshi and Nike did a bad job on these Footscpaes, the mesh is the only good thing on these. What’s innovative about the lacing system being on the side anyways? When these release in July all these will still be on the shelves.

    I cringed when I saw the post .. these are ugly as all hell .. the laces on the side is a garbage design .. stay away from that Nike .
