With the end of the Air Jordan numbered series, Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 2009, which seems to be the next big thing on their list. You can expect to see plenty of colorways release this year, including this pair created specially for the players at North Carolina, Michael’s alma mater.
UNC has made another Final Four appearance, and you can expect to see players rock this pair on the court. They feature a white base along with university blue and grey accents. You can also find the the school’s logo etched into the tongue.Via Kenlu.

These are cool enough. I’m definitely not getting a pair of 2009’s for the price, but I wouldn’t chuck ‘em in my closet if MJ gave MY basketball team free pairs (I’m to short to play even high school ball, probably). Hopefully they also come with the wine in the background to sweeten the deal. Maybe Nike or Supra should do a Beringer pack.
You are a N.Carolina hater but anything unc colored from Jordan is hot but I just hate the 2009 Jordan just seems like these shoes are looking dumb with every new real ones but UNC Jordans are always yall may have had him in Chi-Town but he is orignally from N.Carolina this is where we breed ballers into greatness.
I really like these, if they were being released to the public I would consider buying them. I always love the NC PEs. The university blue and white colorways always look great together.
Why do these shoes remind me of Star Trek the next Generation??? Is it the shiny material on the side and how it’s stitched??? Or is it the huge V on the side that reminds me of the pendant they wore to communicate??? No the other shiny thing in the middle that’s the communicator. Either way the shoe itself is butt ugly.

I think this colorway for the 09s looks pretty good. The UNC colorway always looks nice, but i dont like how its embossed on the tongue. I like the Carmelo Anthony PEs more even though they use pretty much the exact same color.
i dont really like the 2009s and as a fact i haven been a fan of any jordan release from 21-2009s. The UNC colorway is always a good look. but this blue has never been my hue…i dont really like these but to each his own…C-
i hate the 2009’s .. they’re garbage to me .. I like teams better than them.. well maybe not teams but I really don’t like these . therefore i think these are hurt .. just my opinion though ..

I think these are the best 2009s(24s) that i have seen so far.
Looking at these, you guys are right saying these are the next big thing. I hope they do come out with some more colorways for the Jordan 2009. The colorway for these are superb, that white with the university blue and gray accents look spectacular together. Might I add that UNC on the tongue looks so cool, those UNC players are pretty blessed to receive these.

do people really like these? or are they just saying they do because they are jordans? The 2009’s are the ugliest things i’ve ever seen. For daily use, these things also look dangerous. Try walking down a metallic subway stair case in New York in these. Or driving a car in these. I can see that heel getting caught under a pedal. 2009’s are disgusting IMO sorry.

Jordan 2009.these shoes are sick.the blue sets the shoe off.jordan keep the hits going.even though you went to unc you should do more college shoes.
I bought the regular black&White ones last week, after practicing 3 times the heel just ripped off…
They fit like heaven and look really cool to but durable, sertainly not!
