Ever since the beloved Nike Air Griffey Max 1 made it’s comeback this year, the public has been concentrating entirely on the Freshwater and Volt models. During Ken Griffey’s career the slugger has play for other teams including the Cincinnati Reds which this particular colorway is based on. The shoes comes in the traditional Nike colors of black, white and red. The wearable colors present a piece that is expected to do quite well with fans which will be release later in the year. Ken griffy inspired these shoes then he did a hell of a good job doin it while playin baseball. Great look and im lovin the 24 on the strap thats just an awsome touch to complete the shoe.
These are actually making me like the Griffeys .. Seen a all black pair on some website , i don’t remember which one but I fell in love with them .. Theres something about the Black / Red colorway that is so addictive .
The traditional Nike colors look good on most of their shoes, especially these. I’m glad Griffey Plays or played for the Reds or else we wouldn’t have this wonderful colorway. I think these are better than the Freshwaters, I haven’t seen the Volt models so I can’t say anything about them. I agree with you guys though, these will do well with the fans.
This shoe in general is just dope. I copped the (fresh water CW as i call it). The shoe is comfortable and looks nice when woarn properly. Alot of people probably can’t pull this shoe off. But i can, and i love this shoe alot. It has great traction and this leather on suede is sick. GOOD JOB K.GRIFFY!

These are really, really ugly. The sole is fine, but the undulation makes it look twice its actual size. This shoe would look good on top of a pair of roller skates or something, that’s what these remind me of. The vertical swoosh on the heel is silly looking, but the “Nike” on the upper insole is cool. Colorway has too much black, not enough red; D+
Hey, i like how these look in red. I think there should be just a little more on them somewhere though. The all black upper is a litte boring, but they work for me. I like the fresh water pair more though.

Don’t like this color, I like the OG color way.
I really don’t like the shoe period as a whole, but it does look its best in this colorway in my opinion. I like the red in the air bubbles. I wouldn’t mind seeing these in person to see how heavy and bulky they actually are.
I remember when the the 1st set of Griffey shoes dropped back when i was in high school. i used to rock the cleats when i was on the field playing ball..the black/red is SICK. waiting on the black/black to bring back the nostalgic feeling as to when i was a teen

Red/black/ white works for everything. However, I must say that the fresh waters edge these out for the better look, but only by the smallest margin. Just my opinion. The colorway of the fresh waters is more unique than the typical red black and white, even though practically everything in my closet are those colors. Tryin to diversify though.

Let me guess Cj if the jordan had this colorway it would perfect I like these and they are perfect the way they are it is an all black colorway so a little touch of red is nice than to try to match the red up with the whole shoe this is nice keep it up nike.
