In this day and age, our society has brought on ourselves to fight against issues such as global warming. Footwear brand Keds has come to the decision to build its own environmental friendly collection. Their simple yet effective concept features organic cotton, non-toxic inks and dyes, nickel-free eyelets, ISO-9001 certified factory and recycled insoles. The introduction of the Green label will include a green, white and black colorway along with a white sole. The shoe will be available at Schuh. Via Sneakerfreaker.

    These look way too much like vans. Its seems like they have pretty good technology in them, but i dont like how theyre looking so much like vans.

    I love their move towards green materials (A move that Vans has also done on several lines), but these do look really similar to Vans. Only clunkier. So, in summary, similar but worse. These get a B, but I would rather look to Vans if I wanted a basic shoe similar to these.

    you can tell they used eco-friendly material because they ended up with and unattractive shoe and it not really that good looking at all. whats the point if ur going to be cheap pro ked…smh why…F

    I don’t like these shoes at all, but it’s the shoe uses environmental friendly and recycled material. The reason I don’t like these is because they look so much like Vans. Keds needs to get there own style.

    These are the old school keds I’m used to. I not a fan but this is what I’m used to.

    These are nothing but a pair of vans. I don’t like companies that jock other shoes (like levi etc.) be creative and come up with something of your own. easy pass.

    These look pretty cool. I like the black and green ones the best. Yea they do look a lil like vans but its cool how they are using recycled soles.

    Its good thats its enviromentally friendly.
    Thats a major plus.
    Thats new, original.
    But if your going to design a shoe.
    Make it look original.
    Too much like Vans too rock.

    the keds are sick shoes.. the preppy look is making a scene, and these are the shoes to be wearing for it… i really like the green ones

    Can’t be madd….they are environmentally healthy, they are kind of whats in right now….but they look just like vans….hmmmm…..i wouldnt buy them….lolz….
