We first featured this pair of Roc Star x Ato Matsumoto Hi-Straps back in January, and now have more information on them. They are actually a collaboration between DJ Daruma, designer of Japanese label Roc Star, and Ato Matsumoto.
These boots were actually made famous by none other than Kanye West. The designs are shown here in a black and pink color palette along with oversized straps and tongue while the other sports neon blue accents. They are now at Phenomenon Harajuku and other select accounts, retailing for $337. Via Hypebeast.

I actually like these. They have just the right amount of flashiness in em and i like both colorways they put on em. All the patent leather is nice, but the price isn’t.

These are the ugliest things, I can’t even call them boots, they don’t deserved to be called boots. I hate the straps those are hideous, I don’t like the color palette either. DJ Daruma must of been on something when he designed these, and must have been to wearing these. These are not worth $337.

I don’t like these at all. Why would anybody want to pay anything for these let alone $337. Even though Kanye used to rock em’ and he’s like a fashion icon, im still not interested.

Like i said take the straps off of these and they aren’t hype at all. But Just because Kanye wears em everybody’s all hyped up about them. I’d rather just get the Y-3 shoe it has better looking straps but those are all hype too.
water shoes + sandlas = these,and thats not a good “fusion”.

These shoes look like they came from outer space or something. It’s weird cause I like them, but I don’t at the same time. I wouldn’t buy them but if I ever got them for free I would rock them.
Idk wat to think with out the strap these look like they would be hot.. them straps make me a little iffy but they are creative…i love Kanyes audacity in rocking these i bet he pulled them off. Taking a closer look i do like the blue ones …,these dont get a grade yet i got to do some more research.

Not cool. The straps are lame and the exaggerated shape doesn’t help. The gradient above the Velcro strip looks fantastic though.
they look ok even though they look like spaceship shoes.but the $337 retail price is about $200 too much maybe more.
I love the fading colors to Pink or Blue to Black.
But Ato’s aren’t really that known yet.
