Nike Air Griffey Max 1 – Fresh Water (Video)

News about the re-release of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 – Fresh Water first surfaced back in September, and since then, they’ve been on everyone’s wish list. Noted for their fresh water accents just like the Nike Air Max 95, they have been highly anticipated as fans can’t wait to get their hands on pair.
They originally debuted back in 1996 as The Kid was making a name for himself on the Seattle Mariners. With Ken Griffey Jr. returning to Seattle this season to most likely finish up his career, the timing of their re-release seems to be perfect. They sport a black and white colorway along with fresh water accents on the heel tab and air sole unit. They are officially slated to hit Footaction locations on April 1, 2009.

    I’ve been waiting to see more detailed pictures of these. I like these a lot, but I probably wouldn’t buy them. I like the little accent of fresh water though.

    these is a must have, i grew up in seattle and remember when they originally came out in 96′ and wit griffey back to the 206 to likely finish his carrer its perfect timing.
