First came the Smith 1.0, then the 1.5. Now, the Smith 2.0 has arrived, and in style.

Check out the latest creative fusion between DC and pro-skater Ryan Smith, the DC Smith 2.0 – Grass (Green / Blue / Grey).

This updated mid-top version of the shoe comes in a great muted yet funky design. The super suede upper comes in blocks of green, grey, and blue to remind you of all it takes to make a great skating day: a blue sky, some green grass, and the sidewalk. The shoe also features snowy white laces, a muted white midsole with a grey pinstripe, and a grey inner lining.

Smith improves on shoe technology in his latest shoe with a harder version of the light gum outsole and a round toe. You still get the same great stabilizing lace wrapping, padded tongue and collar, and vulcanized rubber midsole. Perforations in the upper panel and toe keep your feet dry even on those days where it’s not so bright and cool.

    If they were just grey and blue, take out the green then they would be dope

    I don’t like these. The squarish angles that define the panels make the shoe look clumsily designed. The colorway isn’t bad, but they didn’t do much with it.

    These look too much like Emericas to me. DC is a skate shoe company, they already have their own designs. They would at least look better without the blue and keep them either green and grey or blue and grey.

    I agree with Cj these arent soing it for me they look like generic copys of every skate shoe that is trying too hard. The should have kept it more simple. I am disappointed with DC for these. Grade: D

    NAW! HATE THESE. COLORS ARE TOO MUCH AND JUST TRYING TO HARD ON THESE. MAYBE IN ANOTHER BETTER COLOR WOULD LOOK BETTER. 2/10

    These just look really long.. And they hav some sort of ankle part but just barely… They look kinda like balky socks.

    The color way on these are weird, but I like them, as well as the meaning behind them. The green standing for grass and the blue for the sky, as well as the gray representing the sidewalk. Love the concept behind these, very nice.

    I love D.C kicks but I’m not feelin these at all. Without that green in them they might look okay but they just did a bad job with these. A disappiontment to me. the meaning of these shoe are kinda cool tho. Sidewal,grass,& sky.
