In a collaboration with UK native and highest ollie record holder Danny Wainwright, Vans has released this special pair of Vans Forty-Four Hi’s which are said to be part of their West vs. East Pack.
The shoes include a load of features, with the most noticeable being the safari print at the back end of the shoe. The black suede design is subtle, but is overshadowed by the bright purpl and teal accents. Look for them now at select Vans retailers but if you can’t find them, don’t be too hard on yourself as you can definitely find your size on eBay.

I dont really like the safari print on these, it looks exactly like the safari that Nike uses. The turquoise and purple is a crazy colorway, but vans did a good job at pulling it off.

These are starting to grow on me, I really like the colorway and yeah soltheman they do look like 1’s…..kinda….in a different way..

These do have a lot going on and I’m not sure if I like it or not. The colorway is nice but the rest of the shoe is so-so..
Why did they do this? They should no better than this, that safari print is not a good look, and the teal and purple aren’t in the right spots for me. Or they could have added more of the colors to the shoe.

The colors just dont look good to me. But, Vans tried hard and they did an ok job on these. Id say 4 out of 5.

the shoe as a whole though is pretty sick i say i dig the strap, the print, all of it… its not too crazy out there but its just enough to get noticed and get a second look
