Pro Keds Leather High - Black / White Editions

We just finished showing you guys the Pro Keds Nub Low in several different colorways, and this time around we decided to show you guys the Leather High version in two different colorways. They both sport leather constructions along with perforated designs, which allow the bearer’s feet to breathe. Other features include the Pro-Keds logo on the ankle area and a rubber toe.  Look for them now at Footaction retailers as they retail for $60.

I don’t know why you wouldnt go buy a pair of chucks instead of these. They look just like them and theyre probly twice the price. The white pair looks like theyve already been used, the midsole is dirty. The black and red stripe on the midsole is bad too, if people want that, let them draw it on there.

Everyones trying to take the Chuck look
or PF Flyer style. These are not a god
    attempt.

u cant make em as attractive as converse so they settled for something that takes the outline but looks as ugly as sin…. BAD IDEA

  • kaden

looks like a cheap version of converse. the holes in them make them look cheap. not dope or cool or anything, only person i know that wears them is seriosly gay. ugly waste of money.

  • kaden

why would you copy someone else’s idea. i don,t see why they couldnt come up with their own creative idea instead of just copying converse. just doesnt make any sense to me at all.

Some of y’all are really showing your age with these comments. you do know that PRO-Keds has been around since the 40s right? Legends like Pistol Pete, Kareem, and Tiny Archibald wore them when they rocked and it was the best b-ball sneaker you could have during that time.

If you look at the history of b-boying, PRO-Keds were right up there with Superstars and Puma Suedes as the choice sneaker for b-boys. Simply put, real recognize real and I know alot of my b-boy homies and cats from back in the day are dumb excited that the 69ers, royals, uptowns, and court kings are making a comeback.

If we want to continue on the hip-hop tip, some of the OGs of the game represented PK to the fullest. Look at old flicks and you’ll catch PKs being rocked in all their glory.

Times change and sneaker technology has advanced but that can’t take away from the history of PRO-Keds. Im looking forward to more of the classics coming out.

    Respect.

Anyone know why they don’t put the light blue keds tab on the back of the shoe with all of their reissues? That blue tab would really set off these shoes.
