Pro Keds Nub Low - Royal Blue / Red / Green

We usually don’t cover Pro Keds on the site, but we are really trying to branch out and expand out our horizons. Here we feature detailed pictures of the Pro Keds Nub Low model in three different colorways including royal blue, red, and green. All three sport solid colored uppers constructed from suede, along with white soles, except for the green version which features a black toe cap. Look for them now at Footaction locations as they retail for $65.

The people that have left comments negative to pro-keds have either never played ball or are just ignorant….Pro keds in the high top version are a much better shoe than Chuck Taylors ever were, more comfortable especially. I can’t wear Chuck’s for a day without regretting it.

Pro-Keds rock! These are not the best colorways, but they’re not nearly as hideous as many of the Converse shoes out there.

I’ve worn Pro-Keds since the mid-seventies and have always preferred them to Chucks, because they’re far more comfortable and they don’t look like Bozo shoes when you put them on. I’ve nearly always had a pair of both in my closet, but wear my Pro-Keds much more often.

I can also find Pro-Keds for less than Chucks on sale. I quit buying Converse after Nike bought Converse and I could no longer pick them up for $10 in a bargain bin, but I can still find Pro-Keds for that price. But really, if you like Chucks, and have never tried on a pair of Pro-Keds, then you shouldn’t be dissing the shoe, because you have to try them out before you can understand why they’re better.
