Vans continues to release shoes as part of their Spring 2009 collection. We just finished showing you the Solebox x Vans Old Skool and here feature a few more models slated to release as part of Vans Spring 2009 Collection. Included are the vans Authentic and Zapato del Barco model, which are now beginning to hit retailers. The Authentic sports a brown / tan checkered pattern on the upper while the Zapato del Barco is available in brown and black / white plaid design. Look for all three now at select accounts. Feelin the checkerboard style. The color way on em are serious, good combo. Lyke I just said Vans steppin up thier game forreal.
MMM i’m no fan of checkerboards. Especially when theyre brown. I can see what theyre trying to get at with these. The other two look like boats though. Plus i like having some lace on my shoes. Thats not really enough 4 me

those boat shoes aren’t that great but I always like the Vans authentic with the laces.
im diggin the zapato model its like sneakers and loafers mixed together in a dominant combination

i lyk the checker ones but i think they should of had the sole a dark color

I’ve never been a big Vans wearer. I like their collab with Bad Brains, though I didn’t get a pair, but nothing in this line really entices me.

I was really looking foward to what vans had for tha spring and they come out wit som terrible colorways. not many people wear brown in tha spring
I have seen so many people wearing this vans style. Obviously they see some thing in them but i don’t. I am not a fan of the brown color or the checkerboard. They seem like they would be very uncomfortable.
zapato del barco is the UGLIEST shoe vans haves ever come out with. i think it should stop being made. brown n tan combo is FIREEEE

These are what vans does best. they should stick to this style of shoe. I dont wear these but they are a good look. They even got a little class.
