Solebox x Vans Old Skool

We’ve seen Solebox participate in several collaborations recently with some big name brands including New Balance, Reebok, and Puma. You can now add Vans to that list, as we feature a few pictures of the Solebox x Vans Old Skool. They feature a plaid woven upper in a black and white color scheme along with red inner lining. They are slated to release on May 2, 2009, are limited to 60 pairs, and will retail for $70. Via Solebox.

    Deez just seem elementary to me. its cool that they incorperated the red in there though. I’m not hot for the plaid, it looks sloppy.

    How do I soud the same in every post? I mean you think they are trash then oh well kiddo, but im feelin them sorry. . .And yeah they would have been better n the high top.

    These remind me of those scarves everybody wears… I don’t really know about these. maybe they would be better without the logo and the laces.

    yo these vans are wack like dead serious they look some1 took the jimjones scarf and tied it around a shoe the sneakers are dull

    These are kind of cool. They’re visually jarring because of the middle panel, but the colorway at least isn’t insane or anything. Not my style though.

    its limited in quantity, so they might as well make a profit!

    I like the quality of them and they are not overpriced, but
    The people at Vans should experiment more with the SK8 highs

    I love the cross pattern on the shoe. I like it better than most vans but I still wouldn’t wear them. The curved stripes keeps the shoe from looking too plain.
