Michael Lau x MINDstyle - SK3 & Jordan 049 x 023 Is it not the norm for KicksOnFire to release news on toys, but the Michael Lau x MINDstyle – SK3 & Jordan 049 x 023 makes an exception to the usual rule! Michael Lau has just released two new vinyl toy collections in conjunction with MINDstyle. The Michael Lau SK3 sk3 x MINDstyle and Michael Lau’s Jordan 049 x 023 x MINDstyle figure sets both feature similar faces.

The Michael Lau SK3 sk3 x MINDstyle is quite comicly ready for a war of simulacrae in white and grey, while the Jordan set features a hilarious Michael Jordan looking character rocking a Wizards-like mINDstyle jersey and Washington-coloured low Air Jordan 1s. You can grab both characters at select retailers including De la Barracuda. Via Freshness.

    These are cool. They look like they are more for collecting. He’s even got the towel hanging from his shorts to match his laces.

    Hey all..

    Micheal lau did make the red/black bulls version if this figure (was his first in this series)… was limmited to only 30 peices (i think or less) and u only could buy it in his gallery in hongkong..retail was $300.00…but went on ebay for over 500.00..

    he is the god father of designger art vinyl..these figures are made of vinyl not plastic ;) and yea they are considered art and not toys..you wont find them in toyrus or anything like that..only a few toy shops..and these are ALL SOLD OUT!..im lucky to have gotten to pick them up!

    these toys are too fresh.people are gettin really creative with thier characters. i cant imagine payin that price for these tho or if im payin 250 for a toy that shit better make me some cookies or someshit.

    First off the guy above me is hilarius, cookie… genius lol. Anyways, i understand why people collect these toys but for me i dont have any desire to buy them For ex. If i see some hoesi have almost uncontrollable impulse to buy them. To me this is just a toy. But if thats what u like……

    yea i feel you, but these are for collectors of the hobby and art scence that collect art etc…so they have the funds..some spend money on art, other sneakers and others video games..everything is about what your into..

    designer art is still young..hasent hit main street yet,but been around for 15 years of so…moslty people into this kind or art/art toys or people into street art etc.

    but the fact is that people would rather have a 3d peice of art than lets say a canvas..you dont play with them..you play with toys…these you display…most of the artist that make for fans that cant afford a $10,000.oo canvas

    These are hilarious and cool. I love the style of them. I would collect thses especially the MJ looking one lol. These are doing it big. Expensive though that is nuts.

    I like the cartoon look for Mike, but it doesnt really look too much like him, they should have put him in a bulls jersey.

    I think these are kinda ridiculous. Wizards jersey? Theres not really a likeness except hes got on #23. Who would want to play with these, they make him look so weird and pricey they make MJ look off — angry eyebrows, tongue out, and worst off he looks outta shape. Over priced barbies.

    Definitly a new approach towards sales.
    But only some middle and elementry play with toys.
    Seems a litte outta whackk.
