This shoe is the also the result of a product collaboration between New Balance, Mita and the creative collective FRAT. It houses a creatively imprinted rope design known as “Shi-mei-nawa” along with a bamboo rake motif on the tongue. Intersetingly, this design is said to represent good fortune.
