Wouldn’t the ideal skateboarding shoe be designed by someone who’s been on a skateboard since they were eight years old?

That is the case with the Vox Hewitt 2 – Cement / Shadow.

Vox has always boasted that it is a “straight up, no frills skateboard shoe brand” and it delivers on this front yet again with this shoe tested and designed by Peter Hewitt.  Fit for a pro, the vulcanized rubber outsole,  triple stitched toe piece, lower lace system, and thermoplastic toebox reinforcement are guaranteed to last.  The Vox IRS gel system aid in shock absorption, while the red arrow tread pattern is the ultimate in grip and control.

The shoe looks good as well – this midtop features a suede upper in two shades of grey, a white outsole, and accents in bright red.

    For real, i actually thought for a minute that those were halfcabs haha. vox ruined the shape of the original hewitt which was badass. and no triple stitching?! epic fail.
