Last weekend, Footlocker’s House of Hoops in Harlem, New York saw plenty of big releases, and is scheduled to release another colorway in the popular Nike Zoom Lebron 6 (VI) model. The Nike Zoom Lebron 6 (VI) – Akron was first seen on Lebron’s feet at NBA All Star weekend. They have been dubbed the Akron Editions, and are inspired by the University of Akron.

Although he never attended college, he still feels the need to show love to his home roots. The shoes feature a white toe along with navy blue side panels that include detailed images of LeBron’s home city, right down to the sign from the street he grew up on. Finishing of the shoes are gold accents along with the University of Akron logo inside the collar as an added touch. Look for them to release this upcoming weekend.
