Here is a look the Puma Mihara Yasuiro MY-40 but this time in a High Top version. Once again the Puma Mihara Yasuiro MY-40 sports a black and white colorway which brings all the attention to focus on the “melting sole.” This model features a grainy, leather upper which is accented by the iconic white leather Puma stripe and white, solid rubber based toe-box. There is a button visible on the side of the shoe and the heel and ankle are coated in black leather which adds even more texture to these stylish kicks.
The sole of the shoe however is what really makes these shoes stand apart as the white and black mid-sole appears to melt and drip down over onto the gummy out-sole.

the silver looks better with the melting because it looks like melting metal. these are just weird to me, The do look like wretling shes doe francois lol but its just a regualr sneaker.

These are hot, but the toes kinda remind me of a pair of chucks. Not so original from puma, but its still a nice look.

Nice. Very subtle.
They look great on, which is what it’s all about. (I like that photo someone posted above.) Puma Miharas tend to utilise the best available fabrics, so look way better in the flesh than 90% of trainers you see about - they make others look very average.
Thing is, Mihara/Puma has and still does the ‘futuristic’ thing, but what with global warming and financial melt-down these retro ‘Chuck’s are on trend.
Still, it would be nice to see more from Mihara soon - something a tad more ‘modern’ though. I’m bored of superstars.
