The Vans Owens HI LS has managed to take the fashionable look of its skating shoe to another level. The sheo has managed to effectively blend a multicolored combination of suede, nubuck and leather on its upper.
The upper is predominantly black with a perforated orange toe box and heel collar. Black suede covers the toe and heel area in order to protect against common slip-ups made in skateboarding. Another interesting feature is the green accents standing out on the eye stay, heel tab and a subtle paint fade on the molded Megathane PU mid-sole. A black quilted leather hi-top collar is uniquely splattered with green to add creativity along with increased ankle support. The iconic Vans stripe is outlined with white in order to match the interior of the shoe.
The red Van’s “Off the Wall” skateboard logo is sprawled across the tongue. Several other intricate detailings such as a molded Vanslite EVA sock liner, a rubber out-sole and two sets of laces help make the Vans Owens HI LS – OJ Fader – Black – Green heavily sought after. Via Eastbay.
