Back in mid-February you were shown the Nike Zoom Flight Club which was signified as the first official signature sneaker of Spurs’ point guard Tony Parker. The hot black and white colorway was thought to be created exclusively for Tony Parker but at this year’s 2009 Dunk Contest, Nuggets guard J.R Smith was seen rocking the same colorway! What exactly is going on here? Why would Nike release the shoe to J.R. Smith before Parker ever even got the chance to wear them?
Now we have featured another Flight Club exclusive, the new Nike Zoom Flight Club. The shoe stands out in this light grey/white/sky blue colorway and is set to hit retailers April 1st for $110. What are your thoughts on the shoe and the controversy that story behind it? Via Sole Blvd.
