Lakai brings us another shoe created and tested by the Filipino-American skateboarding superstar and sneakerhead Eric Koston.

Let’s take a look at how the Lakai Koston Select Skate Shoes in Black /Grey Suede combines a classic look with a new feel.

Designed for the serious skater, the shoe is both light and easy on the feet. The soft rubber outsole and polyurethane midsole make the sneaker light, while the airbag at the heel and shock absorbing insole minimize impact. The shoe also features a double-stitched toe panel to prevent blowouts. All these are characteristic of Koston’s first original pro-skate shoe design, thus making this a classic Koston.

This edition of the shoe comes with a discreet and stylish black and grey suede upper, complemented nicely by the brown of the inner lining and laces. The final splash of color comes from the red accent from the Koston logo itself.
