Bring It Back - Nike Air Pippen 1 - White / Black - Silver

With 2009 being labeled as the year of the retros, let’s hope someone hears our Bring It Back call out. Last year, the Nike Air Pippen was revamped in many color-ways including:

And that is where it ended. Sadly for collectors and Pippen fans, one very major color-way which is definitely one of the best color-ways in the series went missing. The question now is: Is Nike saving it for 2009? If not, this Bring It Back article will definitely get the word out to the Nike camp!

This year, we have been blessed with a few classic models that have definitely caused a huge stir up within the sneakerhead community. Everyone braced the Eggplant – Nike Air Foamposite One with open arms. If you got yourself a pair, you definitely waited on huge lines or were lucky enough to get a hook up from your connect. With the likes of the Air Jordan Retro 3 (III) – True Blue returning in August 2009, and the beloved Nike Air Griffey Max 1 – Varsity Royal Blue / Volt & Nike Air Griffey Max 1 – Fresh Water returning in May 2009, it not a far fetched idea to ask for the Nike Air Pippen 1 – White / Black – Silver.

The Nike Air Pippen 1 – White / Black – Silver was the first colorway that Scottie wore on the court. He didn’t get his name etched onto a Nike shoe until the second to last season that he played with Michael Jordan. Let’s just HOPE that this particular color-way makes it out of the Nike vault.
