The Nike Foamposite Lite has been a popular model as of late, as we have featured several editions lately including the:

In case you guys missed the NBA All Star Dunk contest, in a stunning turn of events, Nate Robinson of the New York Knicks defeated Dwight Howard to take back his Slam Dunk crown.

After his first round dunks, he was escorted back to the locker room as we all thought perhaps he was injured. He then returned wearing a green shirt which read Kryptonate. The name ties into the whole Superman theme that Dwight Howard has brought along to the Dunk Contest. As we all know, Superman’s one weakness is Kryptonite.

He also sported an all green Knicks uniform, but the most intriguing part of his outfit was the the pair of Nike Foamposite Lites on his feet which featured a beautiful green-to-yellow gradient design.

The highlight of the Dunk Contest had to be the 5 foot-9 inch Nate leaping over the 6 foot-10 inch Dwight as he used him for a prop in one of his attempts. Look for us to take a detailed look at kicks on the court after tomorrow night’s All Star game.
