For all of you NBA fans out there, you already know that this upcoming weekend is an important part of the season, as Phoenix will play host for the 2009 All Star Weekend. In this latest version of Clash of the Kicks we are going to pin the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 (IV) - West against the Nike Zoom LeBron 6 (VI) - East. But first let’s get into the dual that these two have been having all season.
It may be labeled East Vs. West in the All Star Game but let’s face it, all eyes will be on Kobe vs. LeBron. Hopefully the guys take on the challenge of guarding one another once again. In their first meeting this season, each one guarded the other and basically canceled each other out. So the team whose role players did a better job got the win…in this case the Lakers. In their second meeting, there was just as much hype but it was announced prior to the game that Kobe had flue-like symptoms. He had a quiet night for the most part, although he ended up hitting a big turnaround fade away over LeBron. King James on the other hand was shut down by the Lakers Defense and had a terrible shooting night, allowing the Lakers to end the Cavs 23-home game winning streak.
Let’s not forget about each of their unforgettable trips to Madison Square Garden in which they destroyed the Knicks. Kobe scored 61 points, shooting 19 for 30 from the field and going 20/20 from the free throw line. Oh yeah and Lebron, well he didn’t do much besides almost notching another triple double while dropping 50+ points. In a potential NBA Finals match-up, this weekend will be interesting, and we can’t wait to see which superstar will step up and knock down big shots in the clutch. Just remember, the Mamba is known as the best closer in the game, and there is no one more clutch in the last four minutes of the game.

I’m going with lebrons. Kobes are there with the performance they have that, but with looks, the LeBrons are way better. The fading blue on the to is really nice. Midsole stichting on them is something new, i like it. The laces are crazy, but they actually work pretty good with the shoe.
