We’ve brought you guys detailed coverage of the Nike Air Foamposite One – Eggplant and just wanted to remind you that although they’ve been available for a while now, they are set to officially release at select locations including Footaction and Footlocker’s House of Hoops tomorrow, February 5, 2009. They have been highly anticipated since they first surfaced last year.

The Air Foamposite One is arguable one of Nike Basketball’s most successful designs of all time. They were the first shoes to feature Nike’s innovative Foamposite technology. Since its initial introduction, the Foamposite instantly became a classic model among many sneakerheads around the world.

The Nike Air Foamposites have been released in a flurry of color-ways so far but none as highly sought after as these. According to our polls from the Clash of the Kicks section (Nike Air Foamposite – Royal Blue Vs Eggplant), the eggplants are almost as heavily anticipated as the original Royal Blue color-way!

    These are cool and the eggplant is a very unique color. But that presents the problem of what do i wear with these besides a plain black Tee? I would cop a pair of these though.

    The egg plant doesn’t work for me.I wouldn’t get these.I love the stoudemire pe’s the most.I think I always will.
