DC x Miami Ink 2009 Spring Footwear

DC x Miami Ink 2009 Spring FootwearDC Shoes is known for having some crazy collaborations under their belt, you may recall the recent DC Shoes x Subaru Rally Team – Volcano SRT. Although we have some seen some wonderful collaborations in the past, they have not been as bright or attention grabbing as the new creation between DC and Miami Ink.

Darren Brass of Miami Ink has linked up with DC to create a nice collective consisting of footwear and apparel set to release in Spring 2009. Four sneakers have been created; two for men and two designed for women.

Where the women are concerned, they have been gifted with a sneaker which has been dubbed “Grapes of Wrath” most likely because it features a design depicting bunches of grapes on the side panels and toe box. The other part of the shoe includes a design best said to resemble a cork with added luxurious deep purple suede.

The other sneaker in the collection has been named the “Peach Basket” and as the name suggests, includes a design depicting a woven basket full of fresh peaches. A nice touch is the “fuzzy peach” suede added to the side panels, toe box and ankle area. The pack will also include two hoodies. Via NiceKicks.

    there is a lot of detail on this shoe, i still dont like them though

    These are pretty crazy. I wouldnt wear them, but they are fun to look at. Theres a lot going on and i like all the different textures used. I like the purple bubbles on the first pair. The purple pair is much better. These are definitely a piece of art!

    Miami ink is a great serie, I really love kate she is so cool. I hope they will continue it forever:-).
