We brought you news weeks ago that Nike was scheduling to re-release the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 in several different colorways including the OG model shown here. Originally released back in 1996, the Nike Air Griffey Max was the first signature shoe of the up and coming star who was at the time playing for the Seattle Mariners. They are slated to release in April at Nike Urban accounts and retail for $140. via NiceKicks.

These are pretty fucking ill. They came out at just the right time with Griffey rejoining the roster too. Now i can cop a pair of them to go wit my jersey! I like how the max air unit is realvealed in a few different places, and the black part around it makes em look a lot bigger.

n555champ is an idiot. They are called air bubbles or air units. Only dumb ass kids under 21 would have something negative to say about these. This is one of the hardest releases ever, now and then.
