Custom Kicks – Rip Hamilton

Tyler Way started customizing shoes in his freshman dorm room with one, single Sharpie. After years of research and a tremendous amount of dedication and drive, he has perfected his craft and has become a force to be reckoned with in the customization game. Some of his clients include Lebron James, Tayshaun Prince, Worldwide Wes and as you can see, Rip Hamilton.

These are one of six pairs T.Way Customs has done for Rip, and out of all of them, the most special. He wanted to create a work of art that showcased Rip as a father, and also Rip Hamilton III [aka 'Duece] the son. After his normal process of stripping the coating, and layering thin layers of paint onto the leather, he freehanded all of the art work, sans stencils and tape, to create a true masterpiece.

    I really like these, the case theyre displayed in makes them look even nicer too. RIP is pretty underrated, i’m glad he got another article and his face on a pair of AF1s. I like the colors a lot too, its good looking with the two different shades of brown and the light blue is a nice, bold accent.
