Adidas continues to push out models in celebration of their 60 years in the game. Shown here is an OG version of the all time classic Adidas Top Ten High. The Top Ten High was named after the top ten players of the early 80s including, Doug Collins, Marques johnson, Kermit Washington, Adruan Dantley, Bob Lanier, Bobby Jones, Billy Knight, Sidney Wicks, Mitch Kupchak and Kevin Grevey.
This shoe is composed of a mostly all white upper of full grain leather with navy blue accents included on the side panels, tongue, out-sole and heel, all of this rests atop a 100% rubber sole. The phrase “30 Years” is displayed on the shoe laces. As is the norm from Adidas models, this shoe will provide extreme ankle support, herringbone traction and comfortable padding. This shoe first saw a rise in popularity back in 1979 when Adidas teamed up with basketball superstar Rick Barry. Via OverKill.

These are my favorite Adidas right here, I just like the over-all design on these. They should definitely come out with more colorways for the top 10 shoe.
These are kinda boring, i’m not really feelin the colorway. They do have an old school feel to them, but not the old skool feel that i prefer from adidas. The colorway is just a big turn off, i like the design of the shoe itself though.

Im from Detroit and if u ask anybody in my city what gym shoe set the bar for on and off the court ballers they would say Top Ten Adidas! Back in the day before a guy had a car he could walk up 2 a girl with a pair of these on his feet and get that number. I have a pair of these that I bought….in March, 1981!!!! I only used them on the court and I can still play in them though there is some deterioration on the tongue. The shoe depicted is not an exact replica - there was a little blue in the rubber around the toe. I didn’t even have to replace the shoe laces for about 15 years. lol. May get a pair for old-times sake…but why should I? I have the originals!
